Anchor Babies and Our 14th Amendment

When Nevada US Silver Senator William Morris Stewart wrote our 14th Amendment in 1866 to grant equal rights of citizenship to freed US born slaves, it did not grant US citizenship to Native American Sovereign Tribes.

That was done 58 years later in 1924 by Congress under 1787 Constitutional Authority and responsibility in Article I, Section 8:

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization

Section 5 of our 1866 14th Amendment further reiterates:

The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Thus our Representative Congress has the right to refuse Anchor Babies.

Our Congress can do this without an Executive Order appealed to the Supreme Court, or a lengthy Constitutional Amendment ratification.

With $753,429 debt per US family, and $813,035 unfunded liabilities per taxpayer versus $9830 revenue per US Citizen, it is clear we do not have the resources to fund 3 billion illegal immigrants in the world earning less than $2.50 a day.

It's beyond time for more common sense in government.

For this to happen, we must first elect only Independent Constitutional Candidates, not beholden to special interest lobbyist funding or owned by billionaires.
